How to Obtain Italian Citizenship Quickly

A highly effective method to acquire Italian citizenship quickly is to travel to Italy and initiate the process directly, which significantly expedites the procedure. By entering with a tourist visa, one gains 90 days of legal stay; however, the process takes more time to complete.

An alternative approach is to apply for a special permit from the Italian government as a descendant of an Italian citizen, which allows us to pursue citizenship. Naturally, we will need a place of residence, either rented or staying with a family member, but not in a hotel.

2. Joining the military of an enemy state during a time of war with that foreign country, or accepting a public office position or acquiring the nationality of said country.
3. If Italian parents conceive a child in a foreign country and become naturalized citizens of that country, this situation applies to children born before June 30, 1912. Similarly, children of parents who have lost Italian citizenship are considered foreigners.
4. Declaring oneself a foreigner by obtaining foreign citizenship before August 6, 1992, but only if the person was of legal age at the time of application.
